Reflection #13
My care is like my shadow laid bare beneath the sun. It follows me at all times, and flies when I pursue it. I freeze and yet am always burned, I love and yet am forced to hate.
I seem stark mute; inside I prate. I've tried, I'm tired. My head's hurting, and I wish that I could sleep it away. For a few minutes, or never to wake up from it again. Never would it happen though; it's a wish, wishes aren't wishes if they ever come true. Ever before, never again.
Love, be more cruel or so be kind. Some gentler love doth ease itself into my heart and mind. Choose your path, decide quick. For which the light won't shine on forever, and eternity won't be there for you and I.
Reality won't be surreal, not for me, and never will be. Don't believe, it's foolish to. Special thanks, to an undefined number who managed to perk me up this day, all those who took the initiative to express your words personally to me. Uncountable apologies to the particular one whom I went overboard with. Names are not needed, now you should've felt a special glow in your heart, and you'd know my words are out there for you.
